Who is Elle?

 

I am Elle and it's very nice to meet you.  I live in the wide open spaces

of North Texas with my husband, our two dogs and four cats. 

I am a wife, mom, grandma & friend to some wonderful people. 

You may hear about them from time to time when I share a funny or warm story.  

 

I have wanted to do something like Happy Mail for many years. 

In this age of almost everything in our lives being technology

and electronic, I have been missing the

personal touch of getting something in the mail.  

We used to get so many Christmas cards! 

Now it's a quick text - with maybe a cute .GIF, but still a text.  

Birthdays, same thing. I really miss the hand-signed cards, and I 

believe I am not the only one who does.  So I landed on the 

Happy Mail idea. It is by no means new, but

I like to think that my little personal twist will

make Happy Mail from Elle stand out from the others.

 

I love to crochet. 

It grounds me and brings me joy. 

I have patterns for all kinds of things!

So I thought it would be fun to have a

monthly drawing and send something

such as a bookmark, or a cup cozy,

or a little toy, for example, to five

randomly selected Happy Mailers. 

To be honest, I don't know what next month

will bring, but it will be handmade by me, guaranteed.
